Hawaiian Haystacks

Hawaiian Haystacks
(from Angell Hanson)

3 c Chicken pieces
2 c Chicken broth
3 tbs Cornstarch w/ 4 tbs Cold water
1 c Sliced Carrots
1/2 tsp Basil
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Salt
1 can Cream of Chicken
Toppings (pineapple, cheese, almonds, celery, etc)

Combine all ingredients except chicken pieces, rice and toppings.  Bring to a boil and thicken.  Add chicken.  Heat through and serve over rice.  (may also be frozen)
